Insurance Accelerator FAQ's
Q: Can I customize the Accelerators after they are installed in my org?
A: Yes. The Accelerators are installed as unmanaged packages and are therefore fully customizable post install.
Q: If the Accelerators include functionality or fields which I don’t want to leverage or display within the Org can I turn them off?
A: Yes, All functions can be inactivated, and field can be removed from page layouts.
Q: Do I have to install all of the Accelerators or can I pick and choose?
A: The Insurance Agency Pipeline Qualification Templates form the basis for the other Accelerators, so this unmanaged package must be installed at a minimum.
Q: Do I have to install the Accelerators on day one or can I customize my Org first and install the Accelerators at a later date?
A: Technically the answer is yes. However, this approach might require modifications to both the design and data schema to allow for an error free installation path.
Q: Do the Accelerators provide complete functionality from Day one?
A: Yes however many of our clients choose to use the accelerators as a starting point for customizing Salesforce to meet the specific workflows developed over time within their agency.
